Take off all the covers and remove the battery and leave in the sun for a day. After a day put it in a container filled with rice and leave for a few days. robsamui Posted October 2, 2012 Share Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) 99% of today's smart phones dropped into fresh water will never work again, sorry to say. (Even just a minor dunk lets water in through the charger port, earphone socket, sd card slot, gaps around the buttons etc) But salt water! The corrosion factor will take care of that last 1%. Looking at your photos - it's the same effect as pouring acid all over the phone's circuitry. Sorry but that's one cooked phone!
