on 30 oct .i will be landing from the uk at 0800 so after 0845

out the small details. Yes i can get one at the airport but dont

The flight is very short and inexpensive. Compared to the tedious drive it is a much better option.

thanks bill,but the new time for nok air is 1515 that means 6 hours in the airport or a bar and i need to drive up the mountains when i get there,so by this way i think a taxi will be no more than 4 hours.so i should get to phits 1230-1300.thanks all, any other ideas?

I seem to recall from the "Fare Charts" that some taxis have, it's around 6000 Baht to Sukhothai, so P'lok will be around the same price.

4 hours to Pits. sounds optomistic, expecially starting at 08:30, figure a good 90 mins to get around Bangkok at that time, the NOK air flight seems like a winner to me, another possibility might be a flight to Sukhothai and then a car onwards to Pits.

I arrived at Swampy from the UK last year, and went to buy a single flight to Phitsanulok, I then asked about my luggage, and was told I was only allowed up to 15 Kilos, I had a suitcase weighing 20 Kilos and a small case 5 kilos. But remember TIT, a different employee might have said my luggage weight was OK.

Forget the taxi to Philok, I have taken NOK Air for the last 2 years (45-50min) and definitely cheaper and more comfy
