Wealthy Thais Pick Yangon Over London For Property Investments

Featured Replies

Thanks for the link to the mixed up article with little specific detail to Thais favouring Yangon

Thais should not be able to own land in foreign countries until they clean up

their own laws within Thailand about property rights for foreigner's.

If foreigner's can not own property in Thailand, then why should they be allowed in

other countries?

Probably cause we would be over run by russians buying everything up.

Keep the property laws I say. I like this place how it is

It's up to other countries to decide, not you. Many countries want Thai buyers because it helps their economy. It would be grossly stupid to stop them buying. What you are suggesting is just childish.

Russians aren't buying up everything; they are mostly buying some properties in Pattaya. And they are in a minority. Sounds like you're a bit xenophobic. OK for you to come here but not Russians.
