Can anyone recommend a shop or individual who could service, spruce up, restore etc some quasi-antique (1960s maybe) fans (GE & Philips) that I have? They did work - just about - when I bought them. They'd be american dc current, but I can buy the appropriate transformer. I know this sort of thing can be done because these old, refurbished fans are sold in specialized shops (but when I asked the only such shop I know in Chiangmai she told me she buys them, already restored, from Bangkok.
