So you believe that an Asian British who marries someone from Pakistan should be allowed to bring their spouse to the UK? Good, although it does seem to contradict your earlier statement about discrimination against white British!

But people who enter the UK with skills which are in short supply in the UK should not be? As said by others, the NHS, as one example, would collapse without these people.

EEA treaties mean that EEA citizens have the right to live and work in the UK, just as British citizens have the same right in other EEA countries. The only way to stop this would be for the UK to break those treaties and leave the EU and the EEA. Which would be a disaster for the vast numbers of Brits living in other EEA countries; the thousands of British pensioners living in Spain, for example.

Do you also think that only non Thais who are married to a Thai should be allowed to live in Thailand? A lot of members of this forum would disagree with you on that!

False argument!

Britain doesn't train enough of it's own with these skills because it's cheaper to import the staff, and they are prepared to work cheap. They are taking jobs from British people, not helping British people.

laugh.png It's unbelievable isn't it?

To be honest with you Tommo, you'd be better off saying nothing, your answers are ridiculous. When I took the Queens Coin I promised to protect all the subjects ( correct at that time ), of the UK, including guys like you.

I don't regret taking the coin, and I wish I had stayed in the services much much longer, standing next to my immigrant soldier friends, who also swore to protect you, however I do regret that our education system allowed seemingly intelligent men such as yourself to come out of it full of so much ignorance and bile.

You, Sir, need to go read some history. In particular, I recommend you read how it came to be that the UK entered WW2, and I'll give you a clue.........when you see Poles walking down the streets of London, shake them by the hand, and apologize that we couldn't do what we set out to do.

We abandoned our allies to 50 years of oppression, so instead of condemning our European neighbours, you should celebrate the fact that they are now among us, just as many of our countrymen are living in freedom in Europe, living lives that our Grandparents could not comprehend.

However our Grandparents could comprehend the sacrifice of the Polish airmen who were vital in the Battle of Britain, that battle so essential to our freedom and civil liberties.

So don't go criticizing our European neighbours, millions of them died for you.

As always,

Just sayin'

Thou shalt not kill! I didn't ask you to, I'm not bothered what bunch of clowns oppress me.

You choose to kill for money, what does then make you, certainly not someone I want around me. I would never ask anyone to die for me, or thank anyone who pretended to kill in my name.

You brought up WWII so ......

As for the Germans, I have nothing against them, they want to run Britain, no problem from me. I don't need foreigners killing for me either. They seem to be running Europe anyway, good luck to them.

I'm not in charge of any country, I really don't care who runs what, or care to kill for any side.

Peace comrades, not war, not violence.

Just saying.

Now you're in meltdown Tommo...........calm down son, calm down..........

I didn't join the army to kill, I joined to protect. In fact, I joined the Royal Engineers so that I could build bridges, I like bridges, I do. w00t.gif

This would be prime comedy if it wasn't so serious.

So now you claim you didn't protect me (you were only obeying ze orders to build bridges).... keep the story straight please.

How about a list of the countries you (might have) protected me from?

And your assessment of each ones likelihood of attempting invading the UK?

or were you just the jackboot of oppression on another persons neck?

Just asking (as you brought it up)

It is such a pity that, yet again, a thread has been hijacked by an pout-pouring of ignorant irrelevance to the OP. The racist rubbish being punted here is nauseating and I hope it will not be allowed to continue much longer.

Surprisingly, I find myself disagreeing with thebletherer for once. It is not the fault of the education system, as you suggested. I have worked in education for almost 40 years in England and in Scotland, and have co-operated with schools across many european countries. In that time, I have seen very few teachers who I would say ever contributed to this racist cr@p. The norm has been exactly the opposite.

The thread has moved so far to the right, in the worst possible sense, that it now has little, if any relevance to Thailand.

And before I get bombarded with xenophobic abuse, save yourselves the effort. I have been attacked verbally and physically for my views in the past, but they have not changed one iota. Racism has no place in civilised society. End of.

Get back on topic, guys, and save your racism for some dirty little bar somewhere out of sight of decent people.
