Printing Custom Fabric

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever come across a place in Bangkok that will machine-print fabric? I have some hand-drawn sketches I want to turn into a fabric print (have been told they might be too detailed & large for screenprinting), and I know I want to use a plain, natural canvas. Is this possible? I'm not talking about photo prints on stretched canvas, I mean making a custom, patterned fabric by the meter that I can then take and sew into other things. Preferably for no more than about 300baht/meter including the fabric cost and sending via bus or post to my town.

Please let me know, thanks!

Has no one heard of anything like this in Bangkok? Or even Chiang Mai?

There are plenty of inkjet printing shops which can print on canvas eg. http://www.godofsigns.com/, but all of them are exceed your budget. Google "canvas inkjet ตรม", you will find many, try to call them. Good luck.

Oh, that's totally different, that's sticker and sign printing, and we have that in Mae Sot too. I found someone in Chiang Mai who makes extra-large screenprints by hand, but am genuinely surprised this sort of custom fabric can't be made more cost-effectively by machine in Thailand. Thanks anyway.
