We are purchasing a freehold condominium on Phuket under the 49% allowance for non Thai nationals. Does anyone know of any companies who will offer mortgages to Europeans. We know of the Bangkok Bank but are there any others out there ? Would really appreciate any information please.

Ask your bank in your own homecountry at first

My first thought was that they couldn't give mortgages for property outside Europe but the truth is otherwise........Some banks do, I'm from Belgium and if i need a mortgage for a home in Thailand they can give me, no problem, already asked this at my bankmanager a couple of weeks ago because im planning to move to thailand in july this year.....Good luck
