Thai Citizenship For Indians

Hello I am trying to check for the steps for getting a Thai Citizenship. Do we have to stay in Thailand for a given period of time before we can apply for the citizenship? Can I not stay in India and apply for the same?

Dear Tarun,

You need to stay in Thailand at least 5 years continously to be eligilble for applying Thai citizenship and it depends on your basis to apply e.g. marriage, work, investment etc. go to police head office in bangkok and discuss with them regarding your chances, they will guide you.
