everywhere i look companies want to offer me shipping quotes. What i need to know is how long shipping takes. would be shipping from bkk or chiang mai to san diego port in us. I shipped last year to boston it took around 2 months i was wondring if it was faster just crossing the pacific?

Two years ago it took 6 weeks from the date a small container left Bangkok until it cleared US Customs in Seattle / Portland... I was told that the total "On the water" time was only about 25 days...

You can get delayed a week here waiting for the right ship and get delayed in US customs if your paperwork is not done right but we use 31 days FOB West Coast as a pretty good average.
