42 Year Old Motorbike driver killed in Highway 36 road crash in Banglamung

PATTAYA:--A 42 year old motorbike driver was killed as his bike slammed into the rear of a slow-moving truck on Highway 36 in Banglamung on Thursday afternoon.

Highway Police and rescue services made their way to the scene of the crash in the Takiendier area. Lying in the left lane of the carriageway was the body of Khun Sampao aged 42 and close by was his badly damaged black and white Honda Click motorbike. The speedometer was stuck on 110 km/h confirming to Police this was a high speed collision and witnesses confirmed seeing the motorbike being driven at a high rate of speed.

The driver appeared to lose control as he approached the truck which he is thought to have seen at the last minute as he drove along the undulating section of road.
