Stabbing follows drunken approach to woman at Central Pattaya restaurant

PATTAYA:--A drunken approach to a woman at a Restaurant led to a 21 year old man being stabbed three times outside the establishment in Central Pattaya.

Police were called to the Kung-tain Restaurant in Soi Bongkot just after 4am on Monday to investigate the incident which was captured on CCTV. The video showed a group of between 7 or 8 men, who had also been eating in the restaurant, viciously assaulting the victim, Khun Anusorn 21 who had gone there with a friend.

The pair drank heavily during the evening and when Khun Anusorn saw a lady he wanted to meet, he did not hesitate to approach her. What he was unaware of is the woman had come with a group of men, who were less than happy with what they saw. The larger group left first and when Khun Anusorn left with his friend, the group ambushed the pair in the car park. It began with a fist fight but then turned serious when knives were produced leading to three upper body and facial stab wounds sustained by Khun Anusorn.
