Changing Co. Registration Location & Accountant

Recommended Posts

We're soon to relocate from Samui to Bangkok. Our Thai Limited Company is registered on Samui & we have a fantastic accountant who has taken good care of us for the past few years. Can anyone advise what paperwork we will need in order to transfer to a new accountant in Bangkok - & also any recommendations for reputable firms would be much appreciated.

Another thing, we have heard that there are restrictions applied to work permits which limit the location that the holder can carry out work - if the service being offered by our company is potentially available to clients nationwide (and the work requires our presence at the clients estalishment), how can this be overcome?

Many thanks.

It will NOT be a problem in Bangkok. Our firm has never had a client( over 1,000 cases) ever be denied for any case like this.

Part of the transfer will be done by your accountant in Samui and the other will be done by your service provider in BKK. Both parties will need to change the address on the company affidavit, corporation tax ID, Vat and work permit. Informing the government offices in Samui and then informing the government offices in Bangkok of the change.

Our firm will be happy to work with you. We have over 10 multi national clients and hundreds of SME's. We look forward to working with you if you decide to use our firm.
