macksview Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 thanks for the information, always helpful this sort of stuff, dont have to do the BKK-DMK shuttle anymore (fingers crossed).
phuketrichard Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 great, only problem is waiting time, how often does it operate? if u get there right after the bus leaves so if its only one bus an hour an u just missed it, your talking 2 hours to get to the other airport
ALFREDO Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) =phuketrichard= Klick on photos upstairs and see, bigger, the Bus times. between between mostly, , every 40 minutes a Bus and morning, evening, 1 hour a bus between the Airports. So, you can calculate your transfer time, if you choose that solution. Edited October 28, 2012 by ALFREDO
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 To the OP, much thanks for posting this info complete with the helpful photos... But I'm a bit confused by the second photo, and the two signs it shows... The first big timetable seems to show shuttles departing up through midnight... But then to the right of that poster, there's another that seems to say the shuttles stop at 10 pm??? Anyone with an idea of what to make of that?
chris26be Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Is it easy to take this bus when you have a big suitcase and a second bag with you? Do you have to take your luggage with you in the bus? Or does the bus have a stowage for your luggage?

Or does the bus have a stowage for your luggage? The bus does not have separate stowage for luggage, but has a centre section with single seats at either side with plenty of room for baggage.
JoePai Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Used the bus yesterday afternoon. Left on time (14.00) and 45 min trip. Staff helpfull and helped passengers with large bags.
Squilookal Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Thanks to the poster, very good information and useful photos.
lullasahil Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Hi there, we land at suvarnabhumi at 7:45am , and have a flight to catch from dmk at 11:00 am. Do u think its enough time or are we in a fix?? Also what would be the best preffered route for us.Last question do they allow us to check in our baggage for a flight at dmk from suvarnabhumi?. Thank you
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Assuming your arriving flight is on-time and you're not inordinately delayed at Swampy Immigration, and assuming your DMK flight is a domestic one, you should have enough time. There's always taking a metered (not tout) taxi using the public taxi desks on the ground floor of Swampy, and asking them to take the expressways enroute. There's also a public bus service that you can catch at the Swampy terminal connecting with DMK. At that hour of the morning, as shown in the OP post above, it's scheduled to run on the hour. So kind of depends what time your clear Immigration and luggage. About luggage checkin, that probably depends on what airlines you're using. You'd need to check with your DMK carrier.
wooloomooloo Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Nothing bad to say about a metered cab from Swampy to DMK on tolls. Not too expensive and it's express as you can get.
