David006
like many have bought e-readers..( cheapy tablets in my case) So for me to get free .pdf downloads of classics is great. For the wife there seems to be nothing out there that is free...can buy downloads at what seem to me as non viable prices ( 200-300 bt)..we visit used book stores and buy paper at say 1-300 bt and get a portion back when we revisit and buy more....the wife likes to possess books so often have to buy more bookcases ...lol . So methinks it will be a while before Thai e books are economically viable vs paper. just my musings...
davejones
Many UK/USA paper books are also cheaper than Kindle books. Strange, but true. Thai people don't read much, but those that do will probably change to ebooks quite quickly. They may be a bit behind the west, but once a bit of momentum picks up they will take off.
