Mother and Child escape home intrusion in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--A Mother and her 7 year old son were forced to jump from a 3rd floor flat roof at their Jomtien home to escape a home intrusion by at least 3 men.

Khun Apiwan aged 36 was awoken by the voices of two men outside of her bedroom door who appeared to be planning a full search of the house for items of value. Also inside the bedroom was her 7 year old son who Khun Apiwan grabbed and led out of the bedroom window onto a roof where the pair then jumped down to ground level.

The boy sustained a suspected sprained ankle and was taken to Hospital. Khun Apiwan raised the alarm when she had made her escape and Police along with Police Volunteers rushed to the house at the Egmongkol Village 2 in Soi Chayapreuk, early on Sunday Morning and began a search of the village for the intruders who escaped with nothing after they were forced to leave in a hurry after the home owner escaped and screamed for help outside of her house.
