Non B Extension , Re Entry Permit And 90 Day Reporting

Featured Replies

Was hoping some of the knowledgeable members might be able to help me.

I got my Non B extension of stay based on a work permit on July 30 th 2012. I was due to do my 90 day reporting this week, actually 90 days put me at the 28th October 2012 i believe,

On the 14th September i went to Singapore for a few days. I had a re-entry permit etc. Re entered Thailand on the 17th September. All stamps in my passport etc.

So today i thought i was due my 90 day reporting, so i went to Phuket immigration and was told it wasn't till 15th December or sometime around then. 90 days from the 17th September.

Is this right?

If you do not stay in Thailand for more than 90 days you do not have to make the report.

Immigration was correct. Your report is due 90 days from the date you returned (including that date).

Thanks Beano.............

For future reference you can make your 90 day report without penalty up to 15 days early or 7 days late from the 90 day mark; this makes things a little easier.
