Hi,

As I travel alot for work I have rigged up an irrigation line for my plants etc which makes it easy to water whilst I am home however I would like to install an electronic time (battery operated) in line so that I can program each days watering whilst I am away.

I am not looking for anything fancy but would appreciate something of quality.

Does anyone know where I could find such an item in the Bangkok area? Again.. Im from Rama 3 so if there is somewhere nearby Rama 3 that would be best.

At HomePro on Rama 3 after Narathiwat and before Chan. They sell a battery operated timer which fits onto the tap. I think it's an Israeli brand.

I went to the HomePro you are talking of this morning however they said they have cancelled all their electronic water timer products.. which includes all other HomePro stores also.

Sorry no, but maybe one of the garden centers around Chatuchak Weekend Market or another home store.

Homeworks, or maybe Index. Failing that, as fredlk said, Chatuchak weekend market should have them.

Though the stores aren't large and since all items are USA imports they are expensive, give True Value a try. There is one in K Village shopping center, near sukhumvit 26 and Rama 4 and another one...somewhere else..

They have a decent gardening supply selection from what ive seen.

thanks for the tip. I had been to K Village before but never noticed the True Value Store there.. it is small but packed with good items. I found the timer I was looking for & it is now installed & running fine.
