Need A Comfier Seat For My New Click

Featured Replies

I bought a new Click 125 last week, and after riding it 400km, I have determined that the stock seat is too hard, so Im wondering what anyone else has done to make their seats more comfy. I thought I saw a thread about a shop in CM thats restuffs seats but I cant find it after searching the forum for "Seats" or "Honda Seat."

I wouldnt mind spending a little money for a softer ride even if I had to buy a new seat. Back at home, I bought Sargent seats for all my motorcycles. They werent cheap but they were worth every penny. We almost always ride 2 on the bike and Im sure my GF will appreciate it too.

Thanks!

Some nice looking seats there. I'll have to drop by and take a look at them. I love my Wave but for long rides a more comfortable seat would be nice.

Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the info and pictures Dave.

ridewings, the seats here are priced nowhere near what sargeants cost back home.

A restuffing shouldnt cost anymore than 600 baht, probably less unless you get the farang tax. A completely new one will cost more though.

Thanks KR about the price information. I will go by the shop that Dave mentioned and see if he can restuff for around that price. It looks like that guy does nice work.

Went by a few minutes ago and had a look. The quality on the seats is very high with good stitching and nice fit. The owner is a nice guy and speaks some English. Enough to do the deal.

I go back in the morning at 10 to drop off the bike and then return about 4 to check the fit and comfort. He'll have it finished late Saturday afternoon. I am getting one similar to the 4th one from the right in the right hand picture. About 2,000 baht total.

I'll do a followup post after I get the bike back.

"the stock seat is too hard,"

Check the firmness of a Honda seat and that on a BMW.

The BM has much firmer (Harder ?) seat.

Honda which I own PCX, has soft foam inside but this collapses after say 15 mins and feels hard. BM know what they are doing when they fit Hard ( Firm) foam to their seats.

Of course, even BMW can give you too hard a ride. cheesy.gif
