Jatuporn, meanwhile, said that what happened to him was a sign of weakness as the government was trying to cling to power by bowing to the elite and neglecting to heed people's aspirations.

He said he swore that he and fellow red-shirt leader Natthawut Saikua had never asked for any position or monetary rewards from Thaksin when they met in Hong Kong earlier this month.

"I accept the reality - I am a fighter who has many defects after the battle, hence I've been delegated to the back row," he said.

He also voiced disappointment that many people who had not taken part in the battle had moved up in the ranks, while a fighter like him had no choice but to look on. He warned the government that corruption, abuse of power and abandoning the people would cause it to lose its power base.

Thus far, the red shirts have been protecting the government, but this will not be the case if the people's wishes, such as the charter rewrite, go unheeded, he warned.

"The opponents are waiting gleefully to see me lead the red shirts to chase this government out," he said.

Much discord reported in the other paper this morning with Red Shirt Leader Jatuporn's fellow Red Shirt Leader and Pheu Thai Party MP Worachai badmouthing the Party for blocking the appointment of his Co-Leader.

Saying that others in the Party, who had contributed far less than Jatuporn had been compensated with ministerial positions.

He even went on to issue a warning to Yingluck to be cautious around a very close aide whose initial is "S" as a person that would hurt the Party. He then issued a general warning to those that want to control everything.

Other non-Red Shirt Pheu Thai Party MP's also voiced their displeasure with the cabinet selections as they grumble over unfair allotment of seats.

Meanwhile, fugitive Thaksin's lawyer Noppadon added that those that feel they lost out should deal with the disappointment, but then offered up future possibilities for these disappointed individuals as there are three more years in Yingluck's administration and more Cabinet reshuffling is inevitable.

a p.s. is that Chalerm denied there was any discord within the Party and also that Thaksin had nothing to do with the new Cabinet selections.

It's long been obvious that his 'useful skills', lie elsewhere than public administration.

Jutuporn and this whole organization, always reminded me of the yes men who were always right beside/behind the old street gang leader. All sides know they are all mouth and when it comes down to some real one on one, they retreat to the back of the pack.and the wantabe tough guys move to the front. It just does not appear that this gang of holligans have many real tough guys, but the majority are quite adapt at verbal garbage speak.
