After doing a google search I could only find overpriced services for the above trip, so could anyone recommend a reliable and not too expensive taxi service from Bkk to Pranburi?

Just about every taxi in Bkk will have the following price list in the cab, whether the driver wants to go is another matter.

By Pranburi I assume you mean Hua Hin.

Cheers for the info Rgs. I mean Pranburi not Hua Hin. I guess it would be about 2,500baht all the way to Pranburi then...

I was thinking about flagging a taxi down in the street but am not sure how keen they would be to go there.

My ex-driver likes to go upcountry and he has a shiny new taxi
