The Bath Tub Test

During a visit to my doctor I asked him

'"How do you determine whether or not it is time to put an old person in a home for the elderly"

"Well" he said " We put them in a bathtub and offer them a a teaspoon then a teacup then a bucket to empty the bath tub"

"Oh Yes", I replied "I understand know. A normal person would take the bucket because it is bigger and therefore quicker to empty the water"

"No" The doctor said. " A normal person would pull out the plug.

Do you want a bed near a window?"
