I have just learned of the passing of ***** in Thailand this summer and am wondering if 'forum support' knows how I might find out more background. I have tried a general forum search but to no avail. I know from a search on 'legacy.com' that **** was commemorated at a funeral mass in Richmond, Virginia in September this year, but I can find little else.

I now know that **** took his own life after a period of hard times, but am keen to know more and be able to send a message to his family in the USA

So can you (cdnvic) or anyone else please give guidance about how to research the mysterious death of an American in Thailand?

It would be very difficult to do without going to where the person lived and talking to people who knew him. His friends and neighbours would be the most likely to know the real story, but contacting them over the internet wouldn`t be easy.
