As soon as you got off the ferry, all the touts were asking you if you wanted to make a "booking",which I didn't think referred to hotel accommodations. Give me Thailand anytime! Mainly I only went from the ferry to the airport but that was a while ago before we got our own airstrip and flew from Sing. private terminal. In days gone by I used to frequent almost every weekend the best kept secret in Asia but then if I told it would no longer be. There is something everywhere.
