February 9, 200620 yr So having read that an investment visa can be obtained with 3 million baht deposited in government bank etc...what does that get you? A 1 year visa with 3 monthly reporting, like retirement visa. Also as long as funds are on deposit do you need to have proof of other funds coming into the country to support your self?, ...thanks

A 1 year visa with 3 monthly reporting, like retirement visa. Yes the same but the difference is you are not expected to use those funds in the course of the year like a retirement visa. Also as long as funds are on deposit do you need to have proof of other funds coming into the country to support your self? No proof of other income is needed. www.lawyer.th.com
