Pol. Gen WASSANA is considering whether he will file a lawsuit against Deputy Spokesperson of the Democrat Party

The President of the Election Commissioners, Pol. Gen. WASSANA PERMLARP (วาสนา เพิ่มลาภ), is considering whether he will file a lawsuit against Deputy Spokesperson of the Democrat Party SATHIT PITUTECHA (สาธิต ปิตุเตชะ) on alleging him for being unusually wealthy.

He indicated that Mr. SATHIT has gotten wrong details about his land property purchase in CHANTABURI (จันทบุรี) Province, which is worth more than 100 million baht. He said that Mr. SATHIT is able to inspect his title deed, while asserting that he has never bought the land as it is the heritage from his ancestors.

He assumed that this allegation was the result from the Election Commission’s attempt to prosecute the House of Representatives in RAYONG (ระยอง) Province, Mr. YONGYOT ARUNVESSASETE (ยงยศ อรุณเวสสเศรษฐ์), who was accused for submitting fake accounting documents. The EC has a resolution to halt the by-election in the area where Mr. SATHIT was the candidate.

He said that the decision of whether he will file a lawsuit against Mr. SATHIT will be announced next week.
