Cheap Serviced Appartment In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Greetings,

Next month I am moving to Bangkok.

Can anyone recommend a cheap Serviced Appartment (no more than 10000 baht/month)?

Looking for somewhere walkable to the BTS, no more than 20 minutes.

Just for a month or so while I find my feet and can find more permanent accomadtion

Thanks

Aiya Residence and Sports Club in Thonburi has monthly rates starting at THB9,000 plus utilities. It is in a working class neighborhood and is 5 minutes away from the Wong Wian Yai BTS station. Okay place with friendly staff.

Plum Duff - welcome.

This thread might get more replies if we move it over the the Bangkok Forum.

As a simple place to get started - the Nasa Vegas has basic serviced apartments starting at around 4,000-5,000 baht per month.

Nothing flash, but the location is right on the Airport Rail Link at Ramkhamhaeng Station, opposite the Nasa Vegas Hotel.

From there its only 1 stop to Makkasan (connect to the MRT Petchburi station) or 3 stops to Phaya Thai, which connects to the BTS.

Close to plenty of shopping and eating on Ramkhamhaeng.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll find their details for you. I stay at the Nasa Vegas Hotel on occasion.

Baan Rim Sathorn is highly recomended by me, even for a longer stay.

5 min swalk from Surasak BTS, clean, friendly and quiet.

Studios (35 sqm if i remember correctly) around 8.000 Baht

Have a look here: http://www.baanrim.com/sathorn/about_us.php?lg=en

I stayed there myself for a year!

Absolutely nice!
