I like the normal amount of people in Bangkok -- but when it gets crowded I freak out.

Is it gonna be crowded during christmas? Been to Bangkok for new years, but never christmas and the former was more than enough people for me. How is the 24-26. gonna be (or has been)?

Seeing as most of the population of Bangkok don't celebrate Christmas,just like another normal working day I should expect.I imagine New Year could be more hectic,even though officially again it's not the majority of the population of Bangkok's New Year!

Won't it be post end of the world?

If you avoid places which are heaving with drunken tourist celebrating Christmas then you'll be fine. It's a normal day for the Thais. Nothing special happens.

Best Christmas lunch I've had in recent years was soup noodles in Tesco Lotus. It's just a normal day.

Asking if it gets crowded at Christmas time in a Buddhist country. Its like asking if London gets crowded around Songkran...
