So how do they get there...

two dozen from this village want to go.

From: Klong Luang, Klong Sam, Pathumtami.

It is insanity to drive there...

Are there busses, or what?

What/who to call, what are the logistics.

It certainly looked like you wanted to go by your OP and all that I was trying to say was don't get involved and don't go there unless you are in an armoured personnel carrier if you are not part of the demonstration. TIT and things do tend to get out of hands quickly, especially when it involves politics!

Hmm, so if I understand correctly, this is a thread from a "good samaritan" that wishes to help the common village folk to attend a rally. These folks "want 60K+ to a mill to be there..." That's nice.

Unfortunately, anyone presenting a comment is attacked and dismissed as a troll.

I'm all for dissent and even peaceful public rallies that are intended to express public views. However, it seems to me that this request is somewhat odd. I find it odd because a long time resident would pose the question to a forum that is predominantely made up of foreigners that do not wish to have anything to do with political rallies, either in support of, or against a Thai government. It seems to me that the best place to inquire would be with the organizers of the rally or on one of the Thai language forums that are focused on Thai political issues. Why ask people that wouldn't know, or even care for that matter? Why are these villagers incapable of asking themselves or in calling the organizers? If the people are that motivated, they can chip in and rent a van or bus themselves.

Oh well, on the positive side of this, at least this long time resident is willing to help his friends in the village get to Bangkok. I sense a humanitarian of the year nomination in the making.
