Grandma has the money in the bank but we cannot transfer to anyone because of a contract?,and she has not made a will, so cannot transfer to K. Moo! Grandchild has to sign.

Good luck!

Hi Billy, my girlfriend translates as....

The money in Grandmother's account and Grandmother's house can't transfer (doesn't say 'who' it transfers to) because have a contract (doesn't say 'who' the contract is with) and Grandmother doesn't make a will for anyone then can't transfer to Uncle Moo ...Nephew/Niece need to reluctant consent (again, it doesn't say from whom').

Best we can do as the gf (MissFarmGirl here on the Forum) complains that she wakes up and I make her translate!

Maybe someone else soon will be along to help you further ... or tighten it up a little.

Good Luck.

EDIT ... member lizardtongue posted while we were translating ... thumbsup.gif

The previous two posters already gave you the important parts. I would translate it like this:

The money in the bank is Grandma's, and the house is grandma's. We can't transfer them. It's a problem with the contract, because Grandma did not write a will to anyone, so that's why it's not possible to transfer it to Uncle Moo. The nephews/nieces/grandchildren have to sign their approval.

But anyhow Thank You Guys So much for help

No wonder Thais can't understand each other

If your Thai parent is not alive then you have 100% rights to your Thai parent's share, which is 1/3 of the entire estate.

What you ask about inheritance law is a completely different question and not suited to the Thai Language Forum.

Could I suggest that you compose your question and post it in the Family and Children Forum.

If that's not the best fit for it, one of the helpful Mods will move it along ... thumbsup.gif
