wyntonjon
Hi. I left Thailand where I had a retirement visa for years to stay in New Zealand for 180 days. That retirement visa has now expired and I want to return to Thailand for 180 days in a month or so. Do I get a 30 day Tourist visa abnd if so how many times can I extend it? Thanks for your help. noob7
2 options: 1.Double entry tourist visa = 2x60 days plus 2x 30 extension option. 1 visarun, 2 x 1900 Baht extension plus ~ 2200 baht visa (check your embassy/consulate pricelist) 2. multiple entry non O = multiple entries in one year, every entry 90 days. Can be used next year for another 90 day entry, in case you wanna stay long, again. ~5500 Baht Edited November 25, 2012 by noob7
lopburi3
If you are planing to continuing this half year cycle another option is likely the best. Obtain a single entry non immigrant O visa and 60 days later extend for retirement again. Before you leave obtain a re-entry permit for next years return and then extend again.
