Broken Zip

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

The zip on my leather travel bag has broken.....can anyone recommend somewhere or someone who can replace it.

Many thanks

Most of those ladies you see at the roadside with a sewing machine should be able to fix that for you. Had handbags (not mine LOL) and other repair ork done by them. Just check the work before you pay and ask a price too before getting the work done.

As pattayadingo says, and there's a shoe repairer that works directly next to the Leng Kee

restaurant on the pavement in Pattaya Klang that can do repairs with leather bags, have used him

with good results.

I'm late catching up on Pattaya threads, but another place to consider is BagFix on Sukhumvit just north of the Pattaya Nua traffic lights (on the right hand side of the street as you head north out of Pattaya.)

Two web sites, same place: http://www.mrbagfix.com/ and http://www.bagfix.com/

They replaced the zipper in a tote bag for me, and quality of new zipper and workmanship was top notch.

Think the place is finished now
