Toy Shops

Featured Replies

Anybody knows of any toy shops beside the ones in Central and Robinson? Not really after Brand names that carry hefty pricetags. Thanks!

The stuff you pick up at the markets is usually Chinese and poor quality and doesn't last long. I know most of the branded stuff would be Chinese as well but at least they have some quality control.

Downstairs in supermarkets, Big C has a few things upstairs as well. Toy shop in Nong Hoi, heading away from town on the left before the PTT station. Toy shops are all over the place really, just need to look for them. Cheap as chips.

It's true, they are everywhere. But as has been said, they are 99% Chinese poor quality and most of the toys last anywhere from 2-7 days. We often buy good quality USA, European, or Japanese made toys from the Internet. Lots of people in Bangkok buy expensive toys for their kids and re-sell them on-line. Some are brand new in original boxes.

In the new Pronenada mall, they still think it will open in April. A Toys r Us shop will open!
