Any Direct Routes To Indonesia From Cm?

Featured Replies

rather than flying into BKK?

If you mean nonstop, no.

But almost as good is Air Asia nonstop to KL, then connect same day nonstop to Indonesia destinations (Bali, Jakarta, Lombok, etc.). To avoid a KL overnight, return to CNX from Bali via Bangkok.

Very comfortable is Silk Air / Singapore Airlines--but also more expensive. Return to Chiang Mai on a Sunday to avoid a Singapore overnight.

Singapore air to Singapore and then Bali.

Not sure of where else it goes in Indonesia as have never looked.

3 Ways to Indonesia - No direct flights

CNX - SIN - JKT with Silkair

CNX - KL - JKT or other aiirports Air Asia

CNX - BKK - JKT or other aiirports Air Asia ( VARIOUS AIRLINES Thai / Garuda etc

Ask at a travel agent you trust. Good ones keep on top of things, I recently booked a return to Krabi with a agent for several thousand baht cheaper than the internet gave me.

Air Asia is generally the cheapest way to go if you are booking on line. Other Lines will have deals that agents know about. Many agents will not handle Air Asia as they make no money off it and you have to pay mire than if you book on line.

Last time we went to Bali it was with Silk air part of Singapore air there was a plane switch in Singapore two hours. Never had to touch the luggage until we got into Bali. It was also one day return. At the time 500 baht cheaper than AA. Don't know about now.

AA direct to KL grab your luggage and head over to the other depot to check in for your flight out also to check your baggage back in

As was said earlier fly back To Bangkok the Chiang Mai return would mean a night in KL.

forgive but that's not true - I fly to Indonesia many times and come back to Chiang Mai from Jakarta through BKK same day - last week for example 7.20 from jakarta - bkk and 1.25 bkk to chiang mai - home by 3.30pm

I was after any info on a direct non-stop route to ANY Indo city from CNX and it appears there are none
