Package Postal Question

Featured Replies

I got a package coming in from Canada

I have the tracking code and for the last two weeks I see it has arrived in Thailand and it waiting to have my address verified

Is this normal? Can one go into the post office with a tracking code and see what is up?

Edited by krey

yes

I carefully monitor all incoming packages that have a tracking number and I have found sometimes the postman drives around with my package strapped to the back of his bike for several days and somehow forgets about it. My package will be listed in the system as "out for delivery" and yet never get delivered. Eventually I will stop him when I see him in the village and have him look and low and behold it's there.

Mind you, the letter carrier and the guy with the packages are different ppl in many cases.

You can also take the tracking number down to your local PO and ask them to investigate it. I try to do this over the phone but they never answer. Of course you will have better luck going down there.

The PO in Naglua used to be our main PO but now our PO is located on sukumvit near the floating market.
