Jin
Just wondering which thread would have more interest, the worst or best....If you have a fav pub from any area in Thailand, large or small, name it and why you like it I like "The Londonder's Brew Pub" on Sukumvit 33 at the Basement of UBC II Building. It seems to have some proper selection of pub food. I also like "Country Saloon" on Chaeng Wattana Road (opp. Big C). It has got spicy Thai food that doesn't cause Diarrhea. "Spasso" at Grand Hyatt and "Riva's" at the Sheraton Grande Sukumvit seem more for people who like dance beats. They are quite good for music. Saxophone at Victory Monument is exceptional for rock and funk. "Brown Sugar" on Sarasin is my most favourite "jazz" pub. Above all, "Living Room" at the Sheraton Grande has got a true taste of relaxing atmosphere.
daleyboy
For grub there are only 2 places. Jools bar does some great English fare and Bei otto has some lovely German food and the home baked bread is to die for.I always make a point of going to bei otto whenever i am in town just to taste the lovely salted bread
