Lucky Escape for truck driver

PATTAYA:--Pattaya: Driver has lucky escape in truck accident

At just after midnight on Monday, Pattaya and Sattahip Police and emergency services were called to an accident involving a swill truck, where the driver was in a critical state.

In the rather old truck, with no registration plates, the emergency services found the driver impaled on his steering wheel and in a critical condition..

The truck, which was loaded with swill ( food refuse) intended as animal food, appeared to have been involved in a single vehicle collision and emergency services worked hard to free the driver, before rushing him to hospital.

Witnesses who helped to free him said that the man was very lucky to have survived and was in great pain
