Non-O Dependent For Wife Non-B Open In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi!!

I need help in my visa problem. Last January I open Non-Ed visa for 3 month in KL, extend for 3 month more. After that I took a medical sertisicate in hospital for 90 days (reason: pregnancy), so I go to immigration office in Bangkok with document from school that I stop study, I closed my Non-ed visa and same day open Non-O

In October I extend Non-O for 90 days more with medical sertificate one more time. It will finish in the middle of January.

Now I have 2 options: open Non-O dependent visa of my husband (he have Non-B, WP for 1 year with visa-run every 90 days) or open Non-Ed visa again.

For me the best option is Non-O dependent but can I open it from Thailand if now I already have Non-O?

I really don't want to go out of country with 3 month old baby. Is it possible to bring docs to Bangkok Immigration office and change there my Non-O?

Thanks!

Dependent extension of stay (it is not a visa) starts from a non immigrant O visa entry but would require your husband have a one year extension of stay (which he does not if doing 90 day border crossings - or do you mean he just reports his address to immigration every 90 days?).

He must do border crossing

But as his wife can I have a visa? I know some people do it and together go visa-run, maybe it is not dependent visa, sorry if I'm confuse

You should be able to get a multiple entry non-o visa to match your husbands.

Why does your husband not have an extension of stay for working?

Actually, I don't know for sure :) He make every year Non-B in KL, but every 3 month he must go out of Thailand.

No you have to apply at a Thai Consulate in another country.

Same as your Husband does.

Thank you! In this case I will do it next year with him. Now my baby is too small for travel to KL.

So, I will try to apply for Non-Ed visa from Bangkok. When I stop it for medical reason, women that work in Ed department tells me that I don't need to go out of country
