Ed Visa Vientiane What Do I Need?

Featured Replies

Going Nok Air DMK to Udon Thani flight coach combination all the way through to Vientiane to get my Ed Visa.

Picking up my Ed visa documents tomorrow from my Thai Language school.

What will I need to cross the border at friendship bridge?

What will I need at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane? What time do I have to go as it will be a friday and how long does it take?

Apply in the morning and pick up next working day afternoon.

Which will be Tuesday 11th as Monday is a holiday.

At the border you will need a Passport size photo and around 1,500 Baht for the Laos Visa.

Okay thanks for that Lite Beer, I didn't know about the embassy being closed Monday so I have decided to leave Monday. Cheers.

The school gave you papers you need at the embassy.

You get papers you need at the crossing.

I cant remember if you apply 1-4 pm & get the stuff 9-12 am or vice versa,

but assume leaving on 3rd day.

The taxi mob charge 4 times as much for a taxi ride as compared to Thailand,

so consider rent a bicycle, or perhaps rent a place next to embassy,

nothing to do there anyway but sleep
