I have not been able to determine the 'real' location of the Laos Embassy in Bangkok. The map on their website gives one location:

and google maps another:

Does anyone know which is correct? The google maps version is closer to the MRT line, which would be easier to get to.

Actually there seem to be three choices...If you scroll northwest from the google map location you gave...and go into Pracha Uthit Rd, you will see a little flag with The Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, written on the map. The one on the embassy's website looks completely wrong as it isn't anywhere near Ramkhamhaeng Soi 39.

The third choice - i.e. the one that is actually written on the map and appears to be in Pracha Uthit Rd, is the right one. You can tell if you look at the actually photographs for that location on the map.

The one pinpointed with an arrow in google maps is rubbish - it's a small shop, not an embassy building to be seen anywhere in the vicinity.

Put this in google maps search box and it will show you the correct location:

"The Embassy Of The Lao Peoples Democratic Republic Wang Thonglang Bangkok Thailand"

(I'm assuming they haven't moved since the photographs were taken of course)
