PATTAYA:--At 11am on Saturday Sattahip police were called to a house in Koonsuk Village in Ban Saray following a call that a Russian man had been found unconscious on his bed by a friend, who told police she suspected something was wrong when she saw the man’s car was missing.

The police managed to revive the man, who identified himself as Alexander Matusov, aged 50, and the owner of a department store in Russia. Mr. Matusov told police that the night before he had met a ladyboy, aged around 25 to 30, and a Russian woman on Jomtien Beach near Soi Chaiyaphruk. He had some drinks with them on the beach and then invited them both back to his house, where they continued drinking. The next thing he was aware of was being woken by the police.

When he checked his home he discovered that his two guests had stolen his white Toyota Vios car, his passport, 50,000 dollars in cash and his ATM card with access to 800.000 baht. The thieves also took with them the deeds to two plots of land.
