Reports On Retirement Extension With "o" Visa In Udon/ Nong Khai Pls.

Featured Replies

Greetings! Has anyone recently filed for Retirement Extension with an "O" visa in Udon or Nong Khai, using the 800K bank deposit option?

Any success? This is routinely done in BKK and CM, but I read that some immigration offices in the provinces don´t do it.

(I am currently in BKK, but would actually prefer to live up in the Northeast, but I may have to stay in BKK just to file for the intial

retirement extension in case this is not done up in the NE).

Looking forward to informed feedback!

All Immigration Offices will routinely issue with no problems.

No problems in either Nong Khai or Udon, same as most places ensure you have all the ducks in a row and its quick and painless.

Been using Udon since it opened here, my fastest time in and out is 10 minutes.

Staff are helpful and courteous.

I think the info you got was about being able to do a conversion from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry to a non immigrant visa for retirement which can only be done at certain offices.

If you already have a visa you will have no problem at any immigration getting your extension.

Where and what did you read that makes you think these offices do not do this extension of stay. Having asked that yes they will do it no problem
