I was thinking of breaking up my visit to Thailand with another country. I am from Canada. I was thinking of staying in Bangkok a few days then making a short visit to Philippines. After the stay in the Philippines would return to Thailand to finish my stay. Total time in Thailand would be 12 days. The cost of getting a muti city ticket is a lot more costly then going this route, and I would not have to worry about the Philippine flight delays and such. My return flight to Canada would be from Thailand. It seems Thailand has a lot of immigration rules.

As long as you have a flight out of Thailand returning home within 30 days, you won't need a visa for here.

You;ll get a 30 days visa exempt entry. Entry by air gets you the 30 days, so that will work for the entry from the PI as well.

Don't need to be home even, just out of Thailand will be enough.
