Hog Head
I just booked a flight on Cebu to Clark, and the ticket says depart/arrive at BKK I thought that all the low cost airlines were now at Don Mueang. Naturally Cebu has no email contact and the local phone is always engaged Anyone know

khwaibah
Cebu Pacific Air is not what I would call a low cost carrier. http://www.cebupacificair.com/Pages/default.aspx

siam2007
no foreign low cost airline is using DMK so far, and as the greedy AOT doesn't offer any cheaper fees for airlines and lower airport-Taxes to PAX, this won't change anytime soon. Right so, as Swampy is much more convenient and predictable to reach. CEBU PACIFIC (if you just call them CEBU, this will confuse people as they will think you are actually flying to CEBU and not to CLARK) does fly to SWAMPY BKK. take notice though, that what u see on CEB's website is not the final amount when you check their fares. if the regular fare is 3.775 THB one way to MNL, then, including taxes, surcharges, luggage fees etc. this will total aorund 6.000 - 7.000 !!! one-way, that is ! Same as other "budget" Airlines such as AirAsia, CEBU PACIFIC in most cases is MORE EXPENSIVE than regular carriers. The only advantage they have is that you can book a one-way at an acceptable price, which is virtually impossible with the full-service legacy carriers. Wanna example ? If you today, 19th of Jan. book a flight BKK MNL BKK for early February, this will total around 13.000 THB incl. everything using CEB Pacific, wheras KUWAIT AIRWAYS offers the same at 8.800 THB including everything and even a hot meal. If wanna go to Clark: SEAIR (under the TIGER AIRWAYS roof nowadays, and bookable on TIGER's website only) is in 95% of the cases MUCH cheaper than CEB. CEB is VERY VERY expensive on international routes, they are only acceptable on their domestic routes, where the competition is the toughest in entire Asia with five major players desperately trying to get a piece of the domestic cake.
