December 16, 201213 yr I was always a 'desert boot' aficciionado but mine were always Clarks brand...they were a 'must have' as a surfer boy in SoCal in the early 60s... I have since switched to more appropriate footwear as flipflops will do in most places in Thailand... do a search on the net for mail order as the local prices will be prohibitive even if you find the original article... my feet have changed as I've grown older and I can no longer wear them but they are a classy footwear...and of that I have no doubt...
