Do you really expect to learn anything at these 'staged villages'?. They shunt them around like cattle - I know a couple of 'pretty' girls who were forced from one village to the outskirts of Chiang Mai city to be close to the trade. The wild west was entertained by traveling shows exhibiting strange people with a miscellany of deformations. People have a strange liking to look at disfigurement. Strange, but true.
