beachroadlover2
The restaurants all appear the same. Any personal recommendations? Do some specialize in one type of dish over another? I think I'll follow the masses but good to hear of any recommendations. I had fried morning glory but there was a decent queue for this "famous" pad Thai. Thank you. Digitalbanana
A night market that blocks access to everyone's overpriced condos.
beachroadlover2
Dined on 38 tonight. One restaurant on the far end of the restaurant strip on the right hand side makes fantastic pad thai and khao soi which is northern food with yellow curry and chicken and fried noodles. both 55 baht and cooked to perfection. The restaurant looks much cleaner than the other places.
kblaze
ive eaten at soi 38 several times a week for the past 5 years, and it is almost all good, but generally 10-20 baht more than at other street food stalls. Next time you are there, try the duck from the duck guy, its very good. Or the mee gob lad na (the crunchy noodles with gravy on top and chinese veggies) its also a favorite, and just a couple shops down from the duck guy in the same sit down area. I will try the khao soi the next time i go (maybe tonite!)
AdamBangkok
I like the place on the right where you pay the dog. He's not very good at bringing change though.
