Norrad Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 Did anyone else see the 737 flying low over Maenam this morning at about 8am? Looked like it was operating just above the stall and routing for Surat Thani. Maybe to perform an emergency landing. The prince has his own 737 plane I think that Thai stop flying to Samui mid January 2013 Yes - HHTCP does have his own plane - but he still practices now and again on TG - that's how TG got the slots to Samui in the first place. Mind you - when the CP does fly in to Samui - they usually stop the traffic around the airport. At night - they make all of the stopped traffic switch off their lights - or they used to.
