A couple of days ago I popped into one of my favourite little cafes, The Cafe Noi which is in the Huay Kaew Residence complex for a very tasty meatball sandwich and a pot of tea. Went to pay the bill and was told "Happy Christmas no pay today".

    Of course and apparently the freebie wasn't limited to me - they told me that they said the same to the customers all day.

    Thanks for the heart warming story. It nicely balances all the negative crap I read here. I'll make a point of searching for them.

    After your freebie, didnt you advise them that Christmas is in a couple of days hence..............so is it free today?.......infact I will just drive past and see how many of you are slouched over your chairs, empty bottles on the grass...
