Uk Tourist Visa For Thai Girlfriend

Hi, im currently travelling in Thailand with a girl I met and want to get her a tourist / holiday visa for the UK.

At the end of my travels we will have been together for 1 month, collecting evidence of our relationship as we go and intend to visit her mother and daughter before I leave (photo's together).

She would like to visit the UK and stay with me, Im trying to research best options etc.. guessing a 1 month tourist visa would be the best way to go, I can provide all financial support, accomodation etc and she has a job at her sisters shop to return to. Do we need to wait any length of time before appyling for a visa - if so how long?

Im looking for the quickest route for her to come to the uk, with as much chance of visa approval as possible, Im self employed and have the time and money to return if required to submit application with her, invitation letter for her to stay at family owned house in UK and we think we can provide all things UK border agency require - time together is grey area...

Im asuming we can extend visa once / if she is in UK and / or have better chance of success for another longer visa afterwards (if all goes well...)

A standard UK visit visa is valid for 6 months and multi entry.

It cannot be extended beyond it's initial 6 month validity; except in exceptional circumstances. Wanting to stay a bit longer in the UK with one's boyfriend would not be considered such.

Longer term visit visas are available; but whilst there is nothing in the Immigration rules to say a first time applicant cannot receive one, they do need to show a valid reason for needing to visit the UK regularly, such as family settled in the UK. A history of compliance with the rules on previous occasions would also help. Even if a long term visit visa is issued, the holder can still only spend a maximum of 6 months in the UK per visit and, usually, a maximum of 6 months out of any 12 in the UK.

We recently got a visa for a client whom had been in a relationship for around 8 weeks however she had travelled all over Asia and had held work permits in Hong Kong etc.
