Question Re: One Way Ticket From Australia/ Visa

Featured Replies

I have a multi entry non immigrant o visa for Thailand. I will fly using a one way ticket back to Australia next week and wish to return to thailand on a one way ticket about 10 days later. My questions are:

1. Will I have a problem with the airline/immigration given i have a one way ticket from Australia to Thailand, bearing in mind i have a thai non immigrant visa?

2. Any requirements for me to get a re entry permit.

Any help would be great:)

No problem to travel one way with a visa. And no, you don't need a re-entry permit, that's why they issue multi-entry visas.

My son went to Thailand on a one way ticket no problems. Was going to get visa for his finacee, and they would come back together.Visa took longer than he thought he had to go back to work so he bought a ticket and came back to Australia.I left Australia and went to this fiancees village.3 days later she got the call visa she be picked up in Pattaya but I had to tell her sorry I have got 27 days to go I am not coming to LOS for 3 days.No problems Papa we go together I am scared to go on my own in plane

If you have a valid multiple entry visa you do not need an return or onward ticket.

If you have already made border runs every 90 days it is no different for a trip to Australia.
